Ok dumb question time

Yup dumb question time. My eb832 is just short of the outlet id like to plug it into. Is it ok to plug a gfci into the outlet and plug the eb832 into that? Something like this

Sure, should be okay as long as it's rated for at least the current rating of the EB. Troubleshooting will be a little more complicated because both the EB8 and GFI can trip the power off.

Yes it’s fine

Yes it is ok as long as the outlet you are plugging into is not a gfi outlet. You can’t run gfi’s into each other they with trip each other falsely.
