So I'm trying to figure out which color I'm shooting for. Four pictures below.

1st, before adding ca react ant
2nd, just as it starts to turn
3rd, starts to match card color
4th, this is final color. No matter what u add stays at this.

Which one is correct.

Thanks

Sorry, there has been may different opinions on this. Some people have even stated that the color on the card is incorrect. Looking for some insight.

Check youtube. Red sea does videos on these tests. You can compare yours to what they have.

Yes the last blue is what you want. If you do the test sometimes in can turn blue then about 15 seconds later it can go back to purple, but you want the drop that actually turns it blue no matter what.

I wait till it gets to the color in your second picture and then add two drops past that, Which is usually ending in that dark color in the last pic ...if it does turn purple within a few seconds I had one more drop

The Red Sea videos state that you DO NOT add any after the first color change to blue. Once it hits blue the first time thats your measument.

My first post may have been misleading on how I worded it. But that first drop that turns it blue is what your after no matter if it turns purple after.

I go for the last picture. But as long as you are consistent with whichever one you choose then you will be okay. It's only like 10-20ppm between each so being a tiny bit off won't really hurt.
