Old DSLR, no image editing, good picture!?

Some pictures, with my first DSLR bought in 2003 (Canon EOS 300D). No image editing .
Still doing some good pics?!

I'm looking to buy a new camera mirrorless or DSLR. If you can post some of your shot with no image editing and camera specs.

Just looking for something to shoot the tank , or are you into photography pretty heavy ?

If it's just for tank shots and occasional pics here and there , I wouldn't go to high tech. Find a used t3i somewhere , and then spend the cash on some good glass . The tech really hasn't changed all that much on them unless you're willing to spend some serious cash.


If yours will accept the new glass , maybe start with that . See what your current body can / can't do before buying another

I will try to get some pics up tomorrow with the t3i that I currently have . I've put it up against a few others and unless you're really pushing the limits it was hard to find the differences

Lens is the key. Spend more money on glass than camera. Used canon 5D is still beast.

Got some decent lenses (Macro 100mm f/2.8) but wondering if with a newest body like Sony A7, or Canon 70D, pictures will be 10X much better, or not so much difference...

I just borrowed a canon SL1 and took some shots with the same macro glass.
What do you think? EOS300D or Canon SL1?

I finally pull the trigger and order a new Panasonic G7 with macro lense. Should be good for pictures and videos. Will see how it perform :)

A question for u guys.
I really want a camera to get better close up pics of corals, but nothing fancy...
I saw some canon eos 50d on ebay at a price I want to pay, is it good enough to take pics like above post?
And if I want upgrade, what is good lens I need?

Most of camera are quiet nice these days, compare to the one that I'm using EOS 300D, but If you want to have close pic like this, I recommend you to buy a Macro lense. Even with recent camera couldn't have closed quality picture without a macro lense.
For canon the one that I 'm using it's an old one but still good: Canon EF 100mm Macro F/2.8. On ebay you can find used one for 200$.

Will post pics as soon as I received the Panasonic.
