Old Glory's Reefer 525 XL

Hi Vols thanks! I am still figuring out here my numbers will end up. I haven't tested Mag yet will do that this weekend.
My current numbers are:
Alk 9.7
Calcium 490
PH 7.78
Phos .04
Nitrate 0

Will check out Reef Energy. How often do you dose that? I currently use HW-Marinemix Reefer Salt Mix...BRS recommended. I like it because its clean. No barrel scum.
Old Glory,

Your getting there and looking good. :)

I dose 15ml of both parts of "Reef Energy" just about every evening but it took awhile to build up to that dose.
If you start the "Reef Energy" and see a grayish matter on your live rock, then cut back the dosage amount, for awhile.

The days I feed my fish the LRS "Reef Frenzy" fish food then I don't dose the "Reef Energy" that evening.

When you dose "Reef Energy" cut your skimmer off for at least 30 mins. or it will go straight up into your skimmer's cup.

Very nice! So fun having a new tank and you sure picked a good one. I have the same tank in my office and it has been up and running for almost a year now.

Mine's still just over two months just a youngster lol

Reading through some thread builds inspired me to pick up some coral. Ordered Jason Fox Tierra del Fuego and Atomic Sunrise Zoas. From Battle Corals - Aussie Highlighter, Pro Corals Superman table, and Pink Lemonade. A coupledom Cutivated Reef - Lime Ade Shortcake and ORA Bird of Paradise.

Reef is 4 months old now. Things are pretty good. I lost my Apple Berry and my Red Dragon. It was a bummer. Showing moderate to slow growth on other corals. Superman Digi is awesome and Green Slimer is growing as well.

Having trouble with PH so I ordered a Co2 scrubber. Will install this weekend.

Supplements include AF Build; Red Sea Reef Energy A & B; Phols Vitalizer and Phols Extra.

Dosing NoPox daily. Vibrant every 2 weeks. Biopure Biodigest every two weeks.

Overall everything is looking good.

Happy Reefing!

Went away for the weekend. Came back and my 5 yo son "cleaned" the aquarium. He used the mag scraper to clean off the glass. Well the glass was clean but he broke two frags. A bird's nest and a grafted monti.
