I just picked up this beautiful little Confetti Acropora at a great price. It's so nicely shaped already I couldn't pass it up. It's in my max par 350+ (During high light period), and high flow spot.

I also got a beautiful Rainbow Loom. Impressive little thing already. Good flow and 250 + par. If they grow like my smooth skins and Anacropora I will be happy.

Nice

I just ordered three more frags from TSA. Great sale going on! Does anyone have any insight into, TSA Bollywood, Jake Adams Immortal Tort or RR Aussie Gold Acro? As I mentioned before I steered away from the ultra frags that I would have a hard time coloring up and went mid tier Acros. I am confident with these three, but would love some confirmation in regards to lighting.

Thanks I'm advance,
Frank

I don't personally own any of the three but it should be expected that the tort and gold will be very quick to take off and not be extremely picky about where they're placed. My buddy says his gold is borderline invasive and every tort I've owned has been the same minus my Oregon. I'm thinking the bollywood might want it's butt wiped a little more than your average acro. I've thought about getting one but none of my guys are currently growing it. It's a nice looking piece once it's colored up. Was it already healed and colored or are they cutting on purchase?

It was an almost wysiwyg, so I am assuming it is one of multiple frags they have that are healed up and encrusting.

Macro video of JF homewrecker:

How do you maintain color? Would that be par or trace?

I have three HW frags that was are losing color now (which I expected). The flow is moving now as you had me rework the pumps and I've seen better PE the past week since you designed it. I was also told that color will go away as there's growth but I cant tell if that is the case for this.

Colors should not go away unless something is missing.
I can color tenius under 200 par or 600 par it doesn't matter.
Nutrients and trace elements is what's responsible for color.
Get an icp and see where your levels are!!

ICP is on its way already. Probably another week when tested in Germany.

Walt Disney is a stunner for sure IF you can pull the true colors. Homewrecker is meh the polyps hide the coralites for the most part. I’d go with pink highlighter and Walt Disney if you can squeeze an orange passion great. There are so many beautiful acros it’s hard to just pick 2-3

It will be a healed up frag, fully encrusted.

I am picking this frag up next week. Morgan of Reef Gardener is out of town. I'm psyched!

Awesome congrats! A bit steep for a frag that small. There’s a few people on here selling frags that size for less than 100 even with 50$ shipping it would come out cheaper for you!

I now have a frag of RR Garden of Eden. It's outstanding even next to bc laser melon, matt v rainbow envy, and vivid badfish. I'd choose it over any of these or homewrecker/Disney.
It's easily the choice for one acro to rule them all, let's see if Orange passion can beat it out.

I like her a lot. She is local, runs a small business, dedicated, etc.
