I couldn't remember what happened, that's why I didn't post it, but now that I think about it, it was my emerald crab that was eating it. When I realized, the crab took a little trip through the beautiful Miami sewers, but it was too late for that torch and a hammer.

Got my order of fathead Dendros from AquaSD ( left and from my lfs more cuc, 10 nassarius snails, 10 bumblebee snails, 5 emerald crabs and a porcelain crab. I have one rfa hosting a porcelain crab but two empty rfa’s and the lfs had one porcelain crab so now the new one is sitting in a mega.

Great purchase , keep an eye on the emeralds, they're great but I don't trust them

That was my free cat frag! I hear some people have had problems with emeralds but I’ve had them in my tanks for over 20 years with out a problem. Bought my first ones in the late nineties for bubble algae and fell in love with them and their antics.

I'll be honest... same, never had an emerald crab go rogue. Last two were from Reef Cleaners and never harmed a coral.

I'm the one who had bad luck then lol, the only two I've bought have eaten corals, after the incident with the first one I kept an eye on the other one and in a couple of days it was the same, Now I only have 2 porcelain crabs living in my torch, but not harm

Just about anything can go rogue, I don’t doubt it but sometimes a small amount of people have it happen on tell everyone don’t ever get an emerald crab or sixline wrasse it ate my cat. Then everyone with no experience repeats it and so on and so on and it becomes a consensus.

I believe it. It might be just a certain coral that I’ve never kept that they are attracted to.

Perhaps it was my mistake; It was at my beginning in the hobby and maybe they didn't have anything to eat. My tanks have never had algae, only for a short time, and that was the reason I bought them.
