Just like the title says...what do you guys think the optimal photoperiod is for sps? What do you guys currently run?

Got it, thanks for the input. I'm currently running 8hrs, no ramp up/down, so thinking about bumping it up an hour or two.A couple of hours ramp before and after a core 8 hour photoperiod of daylight spectrum. Not sure if this is optimal, but this is what I run in my tank.

Currently running a mars aqua black box over my biocube 32. Really I only want to bump it up for my benefit so I can watch the tank longer [emoji14] . But I'd like to make sure first it wont be detrimental to my livestockWhat kind of lights are you running, and do you need to bump it to make it longer?

My photoperiod is like 16 hours total. I think you’ll be ok

Is the ramp up and down my for aesthetics, or the corals benefit?12 hours. 1.5 hour ramps up and down with 9 hours of peak
