Optimal RODI installation ?!?

Hi,
I just installed my new RODI system. I bought an AQUAFX Glacial RODI with a permeate pump kit, a float valve kit and a faucet kit to get perfect RODI water at both ends (float valve and faucet). At the end of the installation, i do have water, my TDS out is at zero and all seems to work normally. But is it optimal ? Did i connected all parts in the best order to optimize my water production and diminish my waste water flow at maximum ?

Here is my installation :



The ASO 1 came with my RODI system and the ASO2 came with my float valve kit. I throwed a look on youtube for installation examples. An expert seemed to disconnect completely the ASO and connect the permeate pump in the place of. But my installation guide didn't followed this way. That's why i have doubts on my installation...

Some experts in RODI installation among you can tell me how i'm on the good track or if i can optimize my installation?

Why two auto shut off valves?

Is the float for your RODI water?

I would tee off the drinking water tank prior to the DI stage.

One ASO came with the RODI kit and the other came with the float valve kit. Both the float valve and the faucet are for the RODI water. There is no drinking water necessity in that installation.

Permeate pumps are for use on systems with a PRESSURIZED storage tank, ONLY. There is no advantage to using a permeate pump on a system w/o a pressurized storage tank.

Yes i know, that's why i have a pressurized storage tank in my installation (called retention tank), that i positioned at the end of the circuit. The diagram you proposed is the one that came with my permeate pump, but i have two ASO and didn't know which one to keep if i have to keep one ?!?

Your diagram looks like you have a float switch in your pressurized tank?

You should be using ONE and only one ASOV. Your vendor should have told you that.

It is generally not a good idea to use a pressurized storage tank in your application. Your vendor should have told you that.
