Orange diamond goby

My orange diamond goby spends about 90% of his time shifting sand but also picks at the walls and rocks? Anyone else have one that does this?

Probably attacking its reflection and being territorial.

He's picking at the back wall which is solid black and also the rocks

Perfectly normal. Though not adept at picking off of rocks and other hard surfaces, they can, and will try at times.
