Orange filter

My filter seems to get salt on it or a haze and no matter what I do to clean it it’s still blurry I am at end of my wits. Tried wipes the Nikon cleaning pen everything. Any ideas

might be extreme, but maybe window cleaner like windex? or any glass/window cleaner.

Does a pretty good job for me.
