Orange Hairy Spaghetti worm?

This thing has been crawling around, feeling and spreading and retracting it’s hairy tentacles.

What is it? and is it reef friendly?

Looks like a spaghetti worm.

Yep. This worm’s segmented body is hidden within a crevice or under rocks and only the long white spaghetti-like tentacles extend from the head to gather food. Spaghetti worms do not generally leave their tube or reef crevices and are not highly mobile – they belong to the group of polychaetes called sedentary worms.

I was hoping you would chime in vetteguy!

I did some further reading (see link below) and wonder if this could be a hairy worm opposed to a spaghetti.

Also called hairy worm, they are both segmented of same genus and the tail end determined it as in pic belo-spaghetti. They both have same habits and eat detritus and uneaten food.

you got it, the telltale feature is the tentacles all along the back
