I've noticed both storm pair hasn't eaten for possibly a week or more. I'd say last Sunday was when they them seemed normal but i couldnt tell you if they were eating then. I happen to have a picture taken last Sunday as the smaller was happily hosting the multiple nems in the system. These clowns has been paired in mature systems for more than 5+years as they've came from another member system before mine for the last 3 years.

Coincidentally, I also introduced a new clown (which looked healthy upon acquisition) from another members tank into the system earlier in the week (9/27) to pair with my other black storm that ive had for more than a year.

They are in 2 seperate reef systems plumbed into one with each pair of clowns in seperate system. The other black storm clowns seem fine and healthy. Both are eating and swimming as normal. Screenshot_20231005_090613_Gallery.jpg

Unfortunately, none of the videos are playing but assure the water quality is within norms and there is no aggression in place as often happens with a new clown introduction.
is here aggression and does it eat- set your cell phone on video mode for about 40 mins and drop a little food and walk away - YOU MUST walk away as they know youre there. Often the aggressor is a bully at feeding time.
You will also see if it eats or is being intimidated by one of the clowns

It's a little unclear - forgive me for asking a question. You said all of the clowns were from well established mature systems - but you also added another clown a week or so ago? Where did that one come from? Also the systems are plumbed together - can you describe a little bit how this is working - are both groups of fish basically in the same water? It could be that the new clown introduced something into the system? PS - I cannot see the videos either - if you would put them on YouTube that often works better

Edit: 2 fish in the same tank breathing heavy suggests a disease of some kind. Especially if its persistent

So - my first inclination would be that the new fish introduced some disease into your tank. However, in those cases, the new fish typically show some symptoms as well.

Here is how the current system is. Both tanks are plumbed together via sump. Both pairs are separated in each tank.

It is very possible the new fish introduced something but my understanding is that it also came from an established system (i suppsoe that meant not recently purchased from fish store).

I also wanted to add that I might've seen white stringy poop on the larger clown a couple of days ago when I noticed they weren't as active as usual.

Here is some photos of the fish. Would still like to know treatment plans as I still have the black pair in the same system, seemingly, unaffected by whatever disease that killed the orange storms.

The speed at which the fish died, the rapid breathing and lack of any lesions all point to either a water quality issue or Velvet (Amyloodinium). With the connected systems and the corals doing fine, you can rule out water quality problems. That leaves Velvet as the diagnosis here.

Treatment for that is coppersafe at 2.5 ppm in a treatment tank for all exposed fish, and then let the coral tank go fishless for 60 days.
