I’ve built many tanks and run them many years and for this build I decided - to try as much as I can - to shop by color not coral. I want the tank as colorful as possible. Some stuff is leftover from old builds and got stuck in here to fill space but will be relocated as I need more room. I have a lot of gsp and button paly taking up space

It’s a work in progress but I try to figure out what colors I’m missing or what I need more of and then look for things that fill the need. Many things i grow out myself and it’s a waiting game until they are large enough to move off a rack into the display area.

I’m looking to add more yellow and I got a nice favia of the gods I’m growing out, it’s mounted to a 2” tile and then I’ll move it into the display once the tile is filled

A lot of things take over a year in grow our zones before I move them off shelves/plugs. Here’s some stuff I’m growing out now

OMG is that rainbow gonnie 2 real?
:astonished-face:

Rainbow goni 2 - It’s real and it’s extremely sensitive and a slow grower and very rare, only one mother colony exists.

I got in late November and have been growing it out. These are all pics of it over the last few months. I like it so much I contacted the owner of the mother colony again and asked if they had any more frags, he only had one left. I bought it - the new frag I labelled rainbow goni 1. rainbow goni 1 and 2 are from the same mother colony. It’s just that 1 only has been in my system for a week or two and hasn’t come out fully yet. 2 is more adjusted and extends.

Mother colony also attached 81A05E5F-0870-43D6-B000-8DBD3765B85A.jpeg 008867D5-E9F7-4E66-853F-7B27594D6EC2.jpeg 84775941-F095-44B5-9D21-4FF6BECED339.jpeg 0F6E8E66-CC25-40DE-9DC7-6614238B38F6.png 41CD75F1-6BBA-4BED-A1F8-94E011F16399.png EDA03FF2-BDE9-40E3-9ECC-DD3FD9F1B098.jpeg 39C63526-7082-476F-9133-AC5EA2852563.jpeg 9FB5E023-7F17-432C-A6E5-62EA994B515F.jpeg 9F355E38-7ED6-4E55-B586-43735FD6723C.jpeg 8DB0992B-0822-4619-8F0C-0878BA696DBE.jpeg

I’ve got a Copper Creeper on order. I’m curious to see your pics in your orange coral compared to the copper. I’m thinking they make look pretty close to each other.

Laffy taffy is yellow tip, and a short polyp goni/bernardpora that has occasional feelers that extend. But for the most part it’s a micro goni and not always going to extend. 467BA8FE-4D22-4E3C-8785-3CED1D2DDB74.png E268E5A9-D58E-48DA-A170-29933BF6E258.png

This is extended all the time - day and night - once the colony is mature and it has different polyps. DF527DD5-FA04-43EF-8D01-AD71BAB62A70.jpeg 05F8CA6E-7BDE-4F14-AAA1-E4592036EC8C.jpeg 82549328-AA1C-4AE2-86EA-A70985889423.png B4DFA73E-225E-4E24-AE08-A01069DA18EC.png

That mother colony is on a flat 4” grow out tile

Reminder this is what was advertised and sold - the listing picture and the video the seller made of the coral for me. This is all supposed to be wysiwyg and I was told the video is accurate color to real life and this is what it looks like in person and it is orange under blue lighting.
