Ordered from WWC... first time getting Fedex shipping delay

Ordered six Zoa frags from WWC.... This shipped out Monday (7/8) for Tuesday (7/9) delivery.. Woke up and got a text that said shipment delayed and reschedule is Wednesday (7/10).

I searched FedEx website and its an issue at Memphis hub due to hurricane beryl. I searched UPS and they have no delays.

I know Zoas are pretty hardy... will 1 extra day cause issues or should I be okay... Assuming this actually gets delivered Wednesday?

As side note: I also ordered some fish from LiveAquaira the same day and they only let me pick delivery date on Thursday (7/11)... I wonder if this is due to known delays in which case WWC should have delayed the shipping out of the order too...

Sounds like a FedEx issue just giving more excuses. They delayed my order scheduled for the 28th last month to the 1st of this month. I called multiple times and spoke to many representatives and managers. They said they have a lot of issues with the Memphis location. That was not the first time my order was delayed in Memphis…

A day shouldn't be bad; WWC does a good job packing. When you get them just be sure to take pictures so you can make a doa claim if needed.

It’s been a little stormy overnight lately. Zoas should be fine. It’s the one coral I’ve never lost to a delay. If you have a holding tank, don’t dip and put them in holding to settle then dip in a few days. But I’ve dipped after a 48 hour delivery with no issues too.
