I've found one that is by far my favorite now. It's called The Fish Store, it's right next to Greenlake on Roosevelt way. Not sure of the address. I used to live right north of it though and never even knew it was there.
It's a real old shop and the tanks are old as well but the critters inside are just as nice and the prices are better than most other shops. Everyone in there was real helpful, I even chatted with the owner for a lengthy time and he seemed like a great guy.
