I am using a ORP probe as indication of general health of my aquarium. I am using a Hydros controller. I have a set point of 200 for the low and 460 for the high. During the 2nd week after water changes, I receive notifications of ORP above 460 starting at about 3am and lasting until 9 am. I have opened the door of the stand, I have turned off the refugium light and it does not lower the value. Thoughts from the brilliant minds on this forum? I just dosed Chaeto Grow and that lowered the value. Do I need to turn off the skimmer for a few hours during the night?

Don't know that I qualify, but ORP is mostly useless ...... unless you run ozone. i have never found any useful correlation between ORP level and some form of required intervention. Did I mention it's useless.
