Hello,
My Chalice and Corallimorph are getting brown spots so I need to get proper lights urgently now and I decided on Orphek OR3 bar.

The problem is, I heard you need to install them high or they will burn your corals, and as you can see on the photo, I don't have much height to work with.

Is there any simple and safe DIY way to dim lights not to burn corals?

I was thinking of making mesh sock that would block some of it but that could be a fire hazard.

my 2 OR3 bars, along with my metal halide, are about 8" from the water. How high are they supposed to be lol?

I'm not sure but I read that they need to be high, someone mentioned minimum 9 or 10 inches. I only have 4-5in space there, between aquarium/water level and very top part of the lights.
