I bought a pair of Orphek Atlantik compacts when they are on sale. What I really like about them are the preset settings it has. With the AI’s you will always be trying to fine tune the light. I had some older Ai lights before the Orphek’s and struggled to find the right setting. I would definitely recommend the Orphek Atlantic’s for ease of setting.

I chose the Saxby and did a slight modification for moonlights. It has been the same for 11 months and I feel it is perfect.

To the OP, you can't go wrong either way. Enjoy it! I would love to trade my jebao for a pair of Nero.

I have Jebao pumps now too. Way overkill but they were cheap and effective. I will likely go for the MP40’s for no other reason but to get the cord out of the tank. Two mounted on the back wall should do the trick. [emoji106]

I have a pair of Maxspect Gyre XF230's with the ICV6 controller that I'd love to trade for a pair of MP40wQD's or MP10wQD's . The Maxspect are way too much flow for my tank.

Hello:

In terms of your two lights I would also go with the Orpheks as well. I’m going to be doing s new build and had to choose a new led. I looked at radion hydra orphek and then midas 7200. I went the the Midas ghl 7200, because each channel was independent, and the color was absolutely stunning. To cover my new tank I needed 4, but you may only need one or 2. They are about the same cost as what your doing now. But if just between your two lights that you picked hands down the orphek. Good luck on your tank set up.

Cheers
Sarah

@dcraigj
My new #Orphek Gen 2 Compact Fixtures came in for my new SCA Rimless build. I got them from @Bulk Reef Supply and the mounting legs direct from #Orphek. Going to be posting pixs in my build thread this weekend when I fire them up wioth the #Orphek GatewaY #WIFIBOX
