EDIT: This build has closed, and transferred over to our new build here: New 90-Gallon

It's been running for about 1 month so far. We have a cinnamon clown fish, six line wrasse, carpenter's flasher wrasse, Royal Gramma, Purple Firefish, Red firefish, banggai Cardinal, 10 very small hermit crabs, 3 emerald crabs, 4 troncus snails and a cleaner shrimp.

I have a Aquaeon 400gph cannister filter going into two hang on filters. A reef octopus 2000 HOB (went to big probably, but at least I can upgrade easily. Lol) we have a corraline uv sterilizer in line with the canister filter.

We also have 2 ai prime 16hds i got for a steal with a Kessil A80 all with stands for less than a new 16hd!

Tank has been running 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10ppm Nitrate, 0 phos. Calcium is around 450, ph 8.5.

We just added our first two corals, a green and purple tip Hammer and a trumpet coral. Both seem to be doing great. We put in oceanmagick photo plankton and have been adding copepods as well.

Also have added a few bottles of coralline algae from algae barn. All tank inhabitants seem to be doing well and loving life. Hopefully it keeps up! I tried to do a lot of research before starting. Here's some pictures!

Also, glad for any advice amd criticism, just don't be to hard on me! Haha

Congratulations on the new adventure and great job on starting a build thread! If you choose to add your build thread link to the appropriate space in your profile you will get a build thread banner that also acts as a quick link to this thread. Please let me know if you need help setting this up.

Great job so far! Love your rockscape too!
Thanks! We put a lot of thought on how we'd like it to look. Wanted it all mainly centered in the tank with plenty of hiding areas. And also still plenty of swimming room. So far we're really pleased!

Here we go, got the short video to upload! Once I get back home from Chicago, I'll get another update video. I know our trumpet has seemed to double in size it looks like since we brought it home! At least its polyps seem to open up a lot more than at our LFS.

Got back home and went and picked up a couple of new corals for the tank. Picked up an Orange Finger Gorgonian and an Acropora of some sort. The Gorgonian didn't have any of its polyps out at the LFS, so I didn't realize that it had any. But about 30 minutes in the tank they started coming out and was a nice surprise. Still trying to figure out what type of Acropora coral it is. Here's a quick video of the tank today! I have the filters and skimmer off in this video since I just put in 4 jars of Galaxy pods from @AlgaeBarn ! Will dose with another 2 bottles of coralline this evening after the lights are out. And the corals love the Oceanmagik plankton it seems!

I couldn't get the video to upload here, every time it finished it said 'Something went wrong, contact administrators' so I just uploaded it via youtube, here's the link: Reef Update Is there a limit on video size we can upload here? I'll have to look that up. Any advice is always appreciated also :)

Just another quick update, got some new tank inhabitants. Two snowflake Ocellaris and an ornate leopard wrasse. Also, a purple and green acropora and an acan of some type. Definitely at the max on fish for the tank (over honestly) but we'll see how it goes.

Well, @WWC had to have their flash sale yesterday, and I couldn't resist getting some corals for the tank! Got some pretty decent ones, should add some nice color and life to the tank! Now to figure out where to place them all when they get here lol

Did some coral rearranging today, also changed the water flow to better accommodate the new corals coming. I think everything is really liking their new spots. Tried to get some good photos that weren't just blue. Figured that out sort of, just have to figure out the blue so much in the video lol.

If anyone can identify the small acan I have a picture of that would be great! Got it for free for buying another coral that day. They had a sale, buy any coral, pick one from the 'free frag' tank. Also, not exactly sure on the hammer, if it's a hammer or frogspawn? looks like a hammer, but it looks like it may have multiple tips on some? But here's some pictures to enjoy!

Got in on @WWC frag sale and got them in yesterday! They're all doing great and thought I'd share some pictures! I'll list what we got later when I get back home.

How are your clownfish acting? My take is a lot newer than yours but adding two new clownfish when you already had one May lead to aggression issues from what I understand.

They had a little aggression between the one cinnamon clownfish and the two snowflakes when we added them in (cinnamon being aggressive). It's calmed down now though, that and our carpenter wrasse seems to play referee with the cinnamon if it starts acting up lol. It wasn't too bad though, and now that they each have their territory; they all seem happy.

Just thought I'd take a video of the tank tonight and share. Sorry on the music in the background, should have turned it down a little more haha.
