OMG, I am literally rolling on the floor laughing my butt off... Tried to add some depth and a "branch" to my Zoa tower. Used epoxy and Coraffix. This is the result....

Holy €£@?! Gave this guy up for dead months ago.
Breaking down the office 20 and brought the few rocks home. Went to put the coralline covered rocks in the fuge and "Hagrid" was in the bucket! Most expensive fish I own ($45).
Now a resident of my fuge (so I know where to find him) until the 5.5 is ready to go!
Very happy.

Came home after a 2 day trip to an aqualifter malfunction on the Auto top-off. 4-5 gallons of water drained into the sump and out the skimmer onto the floor. ***. There goes the security deposit...

Well, I seem to have discovered some Brown Jelly on two of my torches (I really have no idea)... One has been removed completely (was going to die, so removed from the tank), the other is waiting for the Lugol's to arrive tomorrow ) three small heads, smallest closed up).
Never saw anything on the heads, but at the base/skeleton was a tan, cylindrical, mushy bit that I removed with forceps.
Will this removal make any difference (smallest of three torch heads; hammers and froggy seem fine), or should I snip off the small torch head?
Will Bayer (again) help at all, or is this an antibiotic type of thing? If not Bayer, which antibiotic? (I am reading conflicting reports over 7 years...)
Any advice appreciated.

I've been remiss in my posting, but honestly, with 70 days in HT/Fallow, not a lot has happened.
Today was kind of good and bad.
I ordered 3 blue reef chromis from my lps and they came in today! Love them! But in preparation for their arrival, I had to remove my blue Midas blenny (Scout) from the HT to the DT. He was a total jerk, picked on everyone, especially my fairy wrasse, so I figured an extra month or so in solitary, while everyone else established the DT and got their hidey holes set would be a good idea (plus he kept the filtration going for the next fish for QT).
The bad was, after introduction, somehow Scout made it through my screen top and landed under the lights. Selfish jerk. I found him too late. Tried to resuscitate him with a power head to no avail.
The other bad thing was, my 5.5 year old, who consequently name the blenny "Scout" (if you're a parent, you'll know), upon seeing the Chromis immediately named them "Dora, Boots and Swiper"... Turns out I have only named one of my fish (Wrasseputin).
RIP: Scout (aka: Jerky von Jerkington).

ok, I didn't read the past 7 pages so excuse me if I repeat the same info someone else did.
pickup a gate valve off ebay. should be about 20 bucks. with that you can install a herbie style drain system thatll run completely silent. don't combine, that tends to lead to loud drains. youre sump can be as simple or complicated as you want, ive seen absolutely amazing tanks where there were 2 chambers, the first had the skimmer, the second had everything else. just measure your skimmer and make sure it will fit in the first baffle and ensure the baffle is sealed on all 3 sides so the water level is always the same. try to add a couple breakers for the bubbles.
as for the ball valve for the reactors. you can build a manifold using multiple "T" fittings and ball valves for use later, but remember, the more flow you have directed to reactors and such, the less flow you have going to your tank. I suggest buying an oversized return pump that's adjustable, such as the dct9000 or 12,000. that way you always have enough flow and you can turn it down to where you need it.

Well, I clearly haven't updated this in a minute, so I thought I'd snap a few and update the thread (some older shots as well). Pardon the dirty glass (and the overcrowding; storing corals for a couple picos I'm building.) been through a lot with this tank, but she perseveres.
