2300 for that plate was something else id never pay that much for a plate but would pay that much for a Krakatoa mini farm :xd:

I saw it with my own eyes, and it was just as pretty as you think. However, the manner in which it was sold was marketing genius. Not only did it sell for an inflated amount, but it was exceptionally effective at getting their name out and bringing people to their booth. Props to them for that.

I have several plates in my tank which, IMO, are just as nice and unique in their own right. And it didn't pay over $200 for any of them.

wow i could never see myself spending over $100 for one coral. and that thing is insanely sick hope you have insurance on 2k coral lol:behindsofa:. i would be very devastated if anything was to happen to it.

Ok had to find this thread and link revs awesome fortune with his $500 red plate, someone needs to contact the person that spent that much and tell them to kill it! Though if he could afford it in the first place he prob doesn't care about money. Though making that much coin would be a major spouse factor lol. Anyways to the thread, pics are around page 14 but if you are bored start from the beginning, it is very amusing!
