Over skimming

I run a skimmer rated for 300 on maybe 110 including sump. Low bioload. LN for sure, and have everything from sps- softies. The skimmer would be too much for my acans, as there are few fish to feed them. I do feed every other day though w/ live foods and aminos, and I think personally a over powered skimmer w/ the right foods and lighting make for the best tanks. But you have to tailor the food to what you want to feed, and make a point to feed the corals.
