Does this positioning look good for my return and overflow plumbing? I'm using the 700gph overflow kit from glass holes... The teeth of the overflow are about .25" below the trim of the tank.

Is it possible to return it? I know that sounds funny, but you will prefer 3 hole overflow due to the quiet and flow. If not, make sure the box can fit flush to the glass, even if it lowers your teeth on the overflow box. The return looks fine.

I could return it I'm sure. Not sure if the 3 hole overflow would work with my sump though. It's the aqueon proflex model 2 and just has the 1 "input" from the DT. The 3 lines would still have to reduce down to 1, limiting the flow anyway.

Actually, they do not. The can be plumbed to come into the sump from places. One solution would be to add holes in the top over the filter socks. The other would be to take the cover off and come in from that angle to each of the filter socks. Remember the 3 hole system has one hole at full suction, one trickle and one in the event one or both of the other two get plugged.

Cool. Thanks for the advice.

You are most welcome. The 3 hole drain system I am referring to is the BeanAnimal. You can look it up to see how it works. YouTube has some good videos.
