Overflow in Progress

Hello R2R members,

I had some extra acrylic kicking around and couldn't find an overflow that met the dimensions I wanted. So I made one.

Let me know if anyone is interested in this. I'd be happy to share the technical drawings for anyone that would like to build this.

Sure no problem. Just note that although its a box, it not as easy as it looks to get clean/good results.

2 locating tabs that allow about .005" side to side play and prevent it from being pulled out. Its a light snap fit.

what did you use to attach the PVC pipe to the acrylic??

Its a interference fit (press fit). If I recall the bore on the acrylic back panel is .001" smaller than the PVC outside diameter. You can glue it once you press it in, but not necessary.
