I'm starting a new 40g build... anyways I'm using a 700gph glass-holes overflow and was thinking of centering it on the back! recently someone was trying to convince me why placement towards one of the sides would be more efficient for detritus, etc. to be removed.... so I thought I'd see what you guys think and why?... i'll be using 2 mp10's facing each other for tank circulation fyi

It's more preference than anything from my exp.... I have always ran a coast to coast but if you really think about a overflow box skims let's say 10 percent of the surface volume now in reality it don't matter if it was right, left, center etc it will only skim 10 percent... Hth
