Overflow question

So I did have a like t and then a 45 on my drain but at the bottom it made to many bubbles and was loud. So I changed to this. What's everyone view of this setup

It's a full flow and there's about 2inches of water above the drain

You are asking for a flood with that screen on top of the overflow. Research Stockman or Durso standpipes or look into buying a Maggie Muffler. Standpipes serve a purpose.

I had a standpipe but it created to much airbubbles in the sump. It was not loud just not a even flow with all the air buubles going into the sumps first chamber.

It was not set up properly then. Once they are fine tuned they should be bubble free and silent.
