Hello
I am completing the plumbing of my system and I'm looking for a sensor that would switch on if the sump gets too full so it can be diverted to another reservoir or back into the tank.
I've been having issues with getting my corner overflows to not have a small leak of water. We've been troubleshooting it to not have this issue, but at this point, I don't trust that it won't spring a leak in the future. My partner has a concern that the return pumps might have a failure, which will drain the overflows into the sump, but that a small leak in the overflow will lead to the tank perpetually draining into the sump. We've agreed that a good failsafe for this problem is to have a pump that will redirect water elsewhere (back into the tank or a different reservoir) if the sump gets to a certain water level. The tank is 125 gallons and the sump is 55 gallons.
Any recommendations?
