So we just bought a new house and the people were chain smokers so I'm going to run the ozone generator in each room and then in the ac return while we're at work. My question is will the ozone in the air affect my tanks? I know some people run O3 in there tanks. Anybody with experience like this I would love some help before I do this.

Can't imagine that it would have any impact on your tank. That third atom is looking to attach to most anything organic and will do so long before it gets into the tank. If you have a ORP meter just keep an eye on the reading if you are at all concerned. My in-laws are smokers and recently put there house up for sale. I lent them my O3 generator and a pump and they ran it in the house for a week (while away) and it really helped the smoke smell--- so I think you are on the right track.

Thanks GAW I wouldn't think it would raise the ORP too much.
