Now first I want to say that both clams I ordered came in warm, happy, and healthy! Packaging and shipping was top notch!
The blue squammy I ordered was true colored as represented in their picture...but the maxima I bought wasn't even close. I've tried different lighting and photoshop but no matter what I do I can't replicate the colors...
Here's a pic from their sight of the two I purchased.

A beautiful blue squammy and an out of this world yellow and blue maxima!
And here's a pic in tank side view and top view of the same maxima.

I can't for the life of me figure out how you guys made that clam look yellow and I'm more than just a little disappointed. :(

Sorry you are disappointed, but the cultured Maxima clam pic you posted was not the clam you ordered. The one you received is the one you ordered.

Ok yes your right I may have screen shot the wrong one. But still is not yellow in any way.
As said clams are healthy, just wrongly represented in the photo.
Real estate is tight in the reef....I have to be picky when I purchase.

The pics are as they look from the top down in our systems. Clams look better with more white light than blue light and look different when viewed from the side.
