How do you think it would look to paint the overflow hoses and chords the same color as off white wall on clear back tank? Would this help hide the pipes or do you think black would just look better (flexible oversflow hoses are black for Xaqua).

I'd love to see photos of this in action on other tanks?

Any other tips, examples, photos of keeping tank looking super clean on clear wall tank?

I'd just paint the back panel. I've used latex paint with a roller. Easy on and peels off if needed. I've used spray paint but it's tough to remove. I thinking painting tubes and cords would be a hassle and with shadows from any lighting will still be visible.

I find applying black vinyl on the back makes for a very uniform background

I was just reading about some folks using frosted films for backgrounds OR glass tinting for cars.

Any thoughts about this or photos on a reef tank???
