I purchased two starcki damselfish, chrysiptera starcki, from DD a couple of months ago, but they fought consistently. As a result, I ended up separating them. I would still like to pair either of my current fish. I'd like to increase my odds of finding a potential mate past the random 50/50. I've been studying the pictures of several fish that have appeared on DD over the past few months, but have made little progress on any concrete differences. I then detoured to the Orangetail Blue Damselfish, Chrysiptera Cyanea, hoping to make observations to apply to the starcki damselfish.
If you are interested here are my observations from two images of Chrysiptera Cyanea.
This is the current starcki they have available:
Based on observations from Chrysiptera Cyanea this fish seems like a male to me.
Any ideas?

Orangetailed damselfish, chrysiptera cyanea, are in the same genus but exhibit sexual dimorphism. In this case, at a minimum, the males have an orange tail and the females do not. Clearly there are some immediate differences between the two species of fish, forked tails for example, but I'm hoping there is at least some overlap.
Male Chrysiptera Cyanea "Orangetail Blue Damselfish"
Observations from the male:

Observations from the female:
Male Chrysiptera Cyanea "Orangetail Blue Damselfish"
Observations from the male:
Dorsal fin comes to a point
Anal fin comes to a point
Anal fin appears much larger
The first rays on the pelvic fins are longer than the rest of the fin
This fish appears to be more mature than the female below
Female Chrysiptera Cyanea "Blue Damselfish"
Observations from the female:
Dorsal fin is still longer than the fish body but appears rounded
Anal fin is shorter, but possibly does come to a point
Anal fin appears smaller
The first ray on pelvic fins are not longer than the rest of the fin
This fish appears younger and underweight making observations about body shape difficult
