Hi, I have this red maroon for almost 2 years now, is this considered as tomato or maroon. What type of maroon is this, can this 2 clownfish pair, or better of with the same.? Thx

Looks like an extreme misbar maroon. How big is the maroon? How long has it been in the tank? How big is the designer clown? Maroon are usually more aggressive but different types of clowns have been paired before.

IF you have had the maroon for 2 years, it will be tricky to pair. They are notoriously hard on mates. IF you try, be prepared to remove the new one and try another. I would almost always start with another maroon first. Much smaller one.

They are different species, but i guess it's possible. Maroon clowns are much more aggressive so it's highly unlikely, much better to try with another Maroon but that can be difficult too.

Almost 2 years in that tank, the size around 2 1/2 inches. The designer is around 1 - 1 1/2. Can they breed or I needed another maroon in order for them to breed. Thx
