In May 2017 I did a scuba diving trip to Palau and thought you might like to see some pictures. I go into LFS and see coral frags for $30 or so but in Palau corals that were 10 feet across, anemones as big as garbage cans and giant calms 6 feet long. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

These photos of the reef are awesome! Very happy to see that they are in healthy condition. May I ask where did you stay in Palau?

Steve, was that pic of what looks like plating montiporas at Oolong Chanel? I think they called them lettuce coral there.

Reefrf, In case you're looking for a good place to stay, Palau Pacific Resort is pretty good. It has great shore diving. But it's been 10 years since I went so things may have changed.

Beautiful!

Very good, you are correct the picture was taken in Oolong channel. It was the size of a football field. On land we stayed at the West Plaza Hotel Malakal. One thing that was cool was at the end of the road there was a giant clam farm.

It is always a please to me to see new images of the natural habitats of our fish and corals. Thank you for sharing!

Glad to see a couple of people mentioning UV night dives. I was starting to think I was the only one that found day time reef pictures underwhelming - the size is impressive, but I love the colors.
