Probably would consider the 42 pro. Think the 63 might truly in my fish being pinned up on the far glass!

Well wanted to know if the outer magnet is safe and well protected so that when I put it in my overflow , it won’t corrode .

Buddy of mine has the 42 (not the pro) and I was always a tad underwhelmed. Never seen the 63 in action, but if you've $2K sitting around please do let us know how it is LOL.
I think you missed my point. I've no idea if the hydrowizard external magnet is sealed - my guess would be yes, but that's just a guess. My point was that since the overflow is presumably 1/4" acrylic, you could use just about any reasonable strength, sealed magnet to hold the pump in place. If your overflow is not 1/4' ….. then nevermind.

And I thought Ecotech Vortechs 40's & 60's were expensive.. They must be incredible - IN YOUR TANKS.
Oh I see ! The overflow is 3/4 inch thick .. so asking about the panta rhei magnets themselves
Or FoodSaver bags, I did that for a gyre magnet I put in my overflow. Easy to check every so often to see if it's still sealed.Ah that complicates things LOL. You may have to ask unique corals (I think they still sell these pumps). You could also put one into a ziplock bag (zip side down). I’ve done that and it works pretty well.

Well I had the option of spending on lights like G4 pros but I decided to make myself look stupid and buy panta rheis to provide different flow patterns . Why spend on G4 pros when you have ATI
Will see if my theory holds good that flow is more important than light and hence invest in most diverse flow patterns I can provide
