Par 38 Support a nem

Would a single Par 38 bulb be enough to support a Nem?

If it plants itself in the light then I'd usually say yes. But how big is your tank, what kind of par38 and what optics? I've kept maxi carpets and rbta under par30/38 from boostled and ledtric with no problem, but go with a multi color bulb (LEDtric has great bulbs) if you haven't got the bulb already.

6 blue, 4 white and 2 red cree leds. Ocreef Par 38. It puts out some light. 37 gallon tank. Barebottom. Plan is to put 3 or 4 large rocks in the center of the tank like a pyramid. two clowns and a nem. Not sure what type of nem. Juat wondering how people feel about the lighting.

I grew sps with a single par38 in my frag tank so I'm sure you can support any anemone with one. Those par38s put out a lot of light it just doesn't cover much area. I took readings on mine with a lux meter and the lumens were higher than the summer sun in Texas at noon.

It lights up the whole tank but theres a big concentration of light in the center.

how deep is the tank and how far from top of rocks? Oh, what optics? But should be fine either way. I have a 12" cube lit with one par38 with 80 degree optics for my small rbta no problem.
