Just wondering if anyone has any idea what a single ATI blue plus bulb puts out. I upgrading my lights to the aquatic life hybrid next week, one ap700 will sit in the middle and 4 blue plus bulbs on a 12 inch high LPS/SPS dominated tank. I want to get a idea on what PAR levels I will be working with or if it will be overkill. Thanks !

Hang the entire unit around 16.5" and turn the intensity up to around 50-60% that should put you in a good range :) I don't know specific numbers, but I ran this exact same setup over my tank :)

But you'll also be raising the light up :) How high off the water do you have it now?

So if its a foot off now, adding in the t5's you might not have to raise intensity then. Do you have access to a par meter or know someone who does? That'd be the best way to know where you're at

Years ago a guy named GrimReefer compared all the T5 bulbs on the market and the ATI Blue Plus produced the highest PAR for a “blue” bulb. It actually outperformed most of the daylight bulbs.

Why are you guys running the ap700 so low? Mine is at 100% intensity, 9" over the water on an 18" deep LPS dominate tank.
