Hello I’m trying to find a par meter or someone with a tank set up like mine and their par readings. I have a 13.5 fluval tank with a 12 inch blade grow. I have recently purchased some new corals and they’re doing really well but I understand par readings are a pretty essential thing when it comes to corals and anemones but I don’t want to spend a ton of money on a par meter and only use it once. If anyone has any recommendations or suggestions. I also live in Northern California if anyone has a par meter they are willing to lend to me.

You can try a local reefer forum, or BRS allows you to borrow one for a restocking fee.

I personally wouldn’t bother with such a small tank. PAR measurements really aren’t that important imo.

I’ve been in this hobby successfully the last 15 years without ever using a par meter

Did you end up settling on a specific template/intensity?
