I just received my new BTM3000 Par meter. I have been on the fence for a while thinking do I really need this thing? Well after testing my tank I soon got the answer, Yes I did need it. It is true what they say about LED's you have no idea the amount of PAR you might be giving your tank. I have a 36" tall tank with rocks going only as high as 2' from the bottom. so you would think I would need to really turn up the units (I have 6 AI Hydras) to get the PAR needed for sps, Well I was a little lite on some settings and to much on others. live and learn, at least I hope my corals will. So if your in the Tampa Area drop me a line if you would like to see the PAR on your tank.
