Hello, does anyone know of a reliable cheaper end PAR meter? $100 or under? And/or anyone have good settings for the NooPsyche K7 IV? Have it mounted at max height in my IM 25 lagoon and not sure where to set strength for Duncan’s on sand bed and mushroom low down on rock, plan on keeping lps and softies.
Any reco is helpful

I bought mine on aliexpress.
search for 414 Par Meter Reef Aquarium IP68 Waterproof Sensor Digital Quantum Full-Spectrum Reef Tank PAR Meter PPFD Tester
Depending on the offer it's around 150USD. Haven't found anything cheaper, but this one I can recommend.

Maybe look into the photone app. I've not used it but the there are quite a few posts floating around here discussing it. Seems like it might be a good budget friendly choice to get your lights in the ball park.
Thank you

I have the same set up as you and have been using this computer/android based controller one of the members made: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/n...oid-versions-wi‑fi-no-esp32-required.1158010/

I have mine set on the low power LPS mode? (its whatever the lowest available setting is) and only get about ~35 PAR on the sand bed, planning to move it up to the mixed LPS/softie setting eventually though. Even at that setting, I'm seeing growth with my corals which are mostly mushrooms, gonis, acans, and blastos all being kept on the sandbed still as I have a hitch hiker mantis shrimp I am trying to figure out how to remove.
