Does anyone use this PAR meter? The reviews seem good and the price point isn't bad either. It actually has better reviews than the PAR meter BRS used to sell, which is over $500

@Randy Holmes-Farley recommends it in this thread so I would trust it.

So a $140 device is comparable to a one that is $500+? What are we giving up in exchange for this price savings? Seems to good to be true but I am just starting my research upgrading from an older Apogee that apparently is not very good for LEDs.

Just as all things that are cheap products that come out of China vs Lab grade gear. Who know how long the sensor will last or if it will drift off spec but it's a worthy device to use for getting your lights setup and adjusted.

Here's the thread you'll want to read: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/v...-aquarium-r-g-b-par-seperately.1011898/page-2

I've used it as of recently to get things "within range"
would I trust it with extremely costly corals?
Probably not.
But as @NanoSteam stated, good to get you up and running.

Not me seeing this post at a quick glance next to your name and profile pic and my brain immediately thinking the photo was a PKE meter 🙈
