Fantastic is all I can say. How is he acting? Looks to be a bit over 2 inches. Was he shipped carrier or did you pick him up from the airport.

It's the rare factor. They haven't been available for years, and as far as I know, just recently only one collector. It is the remote location in which they are found.

Thanks Brad! And that isn't even the supermale! Cant wait to see that thing.

He was acting funny in the bad and I was worried. but after drip acclimation i dumped him in the QT with 7 other wrasses and he hid of course. Well about 30 minutes later i went into the fish room to check on him and he was out swimming around! I thought Great! so i threw in some mysis... ate one! Then I threw in some pellets because my other wrasses have been all about them adn he ate another one! since he has gone after the pellets hours after his flight from hawaii! just awsome. He is still swimming around wiht the other just fine. no aggression or anything!

here is another pic...

Yes, this is a flasher and I have seen a fair amount of wrasses but none with the sparkle and strikingness as the bellae....

and this fish isn't too expensive comparied to some others out there! or in my tank!

Awsome, I haven't talked to Dan today. I need to call him and make sure everything is ok over there and see if he still plans to hit the airport tonight. I hope so, I've already worked my schedule around it. I just don't know if the tsunami caused any problems for them.
