hi, its been 3 weeks that i have a new copperband butterflyfish and he eat really good but, that make 2 weeks that he have big white spot that feel and after got smaler one and get biger, i put him in a quarantine with cuper but it didin't help , i put it back in the main tank because he eat more in it because he is lees stress and i thought its was lympho , but i don't think so now.Now he have 5 little black spot at the and of his fins.I put a reef safe treatement in the tank because i think i saw a spot on my clown fish ut now he doesn't have it.
so, if someone can please help me , my fish look really healthy but im still skared of what he have.

Welcome to R2R! Could you add some pictures of the fish? That will help. I am no expert in fish diseases. Maybe #mods could move this to the fish disease forum and get the experts over there looking at it.

That looks like lympho.

It is a virus. All you can do is keep pristine water and feed a healthy diet. Very common in butterflies and angels. Adding things like selcon and or vitachem supplements can help as well.

I don't see any black spots that don't belong on a copperband, but you might look up "black ich" or turbellarian worms. They're usually susceptible to Praziquantel formulations, like Prazi-Pro.
