Parasite in reef tank

I noticed ich on a couple fish even after quarantine every fish.

I now have removed all fish from the system into a separate tank.

My question is can I just leave the tank to run as a coral tank and they will eventually die off? Or what’s best to remove any parasites remaining in the tank so I can add fish back into the system.

it’s mainly filled with Anemone and soft corals with invertebrates

Yes they will die off without fish hosts. I believe the current recommendation is 72 days fallow but others may correct me. Sounds like a long time.

Presently, there is not an in tank treatment that will eradicate ich besides a fallow period. There are some (maybe more) that follow more of a "management" approach via promoting fish health & immunity through diet, safe environment and husbandry.

Did you QT the fish in copper?
