Part 3A mixing by weight in gram.

Randy's Part 3A states" Dissolve Epsom salts (3 cups) and magnesium chloride hexahydrate (5 cups) in enough purified freshwater to make 1 gallon total volume. Can anyone help me how much grams is 3 cups of MgSo4 and 5 cups of MgCl.

That recipe is for 64 ounces of Epsom salt, but is close enough for just using 64 ounces total (3/8 epsom salt, 5/8 magnesium chloride hexahydrate).
64 ounces is 1814 gram. So 3/8 epsom salt is 680 gram and the rest (1134 gram) is MgCl. Dissolve all this into one US gallon to get part 3A. Is that sound right? Thanks for the help.
