Patience is the most difficult part...

It really is best to have another hobby (or a few) if you have a reef tank to keep you from messing with it.

For the most part there is little that really needs to be done to the tank once it's up and running.
 
With these overflow, you don't have room for durso style. Look up herbie drains and see if you can do something similar due to limited space. Just keep check you ammonia and nitrite for now. Don't worry about ph til later on. Nitrate will be checked after nitrite drops to zero.

I just modified to herbie style and it is suuuupppeeerrr quiet. Thanks for the tip!
