Which one is better to use concerning maintenance and for making algae? Pax Bellum Algae Reactor or ClearWater Algae Scrubber?

Just wondering is there any difference in growing green algae on a screen or in a reactor? I have lots of slimy algae in my reactor. I know it's hard to clean but is it doing any harm growing it in there instead of on a screen?

I've never had an algae scrubber but I'm going 2nd month of running the Arid N18 and I love it! Grows chaeto wonderfully and almost no light spill even with the inner sleeve removed. So far I've harvested once per week but I'm going to try and go 2 weeks this time. Compared to the water changes I'm trying to cut back on, maintenance on this thing is a breeze! I'm very happy with my purchase.

I don't have experience with either of those but I love my surf 4x floating scrubber. Just need a air pump, no plumbing or pumping water. Has no light spill so it's perfect for my cryptic zone. Grows algae great and my tangs love it. I don't even buy nori any longer. Cleaning couldn't be easier, just take the top off and pull the algae out.
