I am considering attempting to keep a dragonet. I have two small clownfish that are fed a diet consisting of pellets, PE Mysis and Calanus. I am familiar with the diet of dragonets, and PE Calanus are essentially frozen copepods. Has anyone had luck with their dragonet eating this food?

While it’s tiny, they may or may not eat it. Baby brine shrimp May be a better bet

PE Calanus are similar in size to ‘tigger’ pods. Don’t see why a dragonet wouldn’t eat them. I guess I could start with live copepods, then baby brine, and then wean it onto calanus or mysis.

My ruby red can’t catch the PE calanus, but would probably eat it if he could . Note, I have a high flow sps tank so he can’t catch food in the water column. He does eat frozen(LRS nano), which is heavier and tends to sink to the bottom.
