Seems like my life story here with bad fish :(

I bought a peacock wrasse(1 week ago) little baby one you could say 2 inches maybe smaller and when I put him in he chilled on the reef and then after a few hours he went into the sand which I know is normal but he hasn't made an appearance for 3 days now should I be worried i have no aggressive tank mates(also I haven't seen him eat though I've got copepods and I feed 3 times a day with mixed foods)

Totally normal behavior for it to hide in the sand for several days to a few weeks when first introduced into a new tank. Once it feels comfortable in its new environment it will show itself. Until it does resurface, resist the urge to dig around in the sand for it, doing so will stress it out and make it hide longer.
