I've had this thing for a couple of years now. When it first started shooting up, I thought it was a pearlberry, (colors look very close) but as it's growing out, I find it looking more and more like it's some sort of smoothie?

Any ideas what it is?

Vibrant colors that is for sure!

Looks a lot like Princess Disastah Granulosa, which may or may not be a granny.

Bcsreef, are you lowsingle on wamas?would say what your referencing is a granulosa but I dunno about the op’s piece, the side picture does look like it could swing wither way! Also the encrusting is a big granny trait from what I have seen in our tanks. Not so sure about insignes on the encrusting that much. Kinda looks like it’s in a lower flow area maybe.

Yes, it is down a bit out of the main flow. Middle of the tank. Didn't seem to like the high flow up top.

No, I'm not lowsingle.

When I get home I'll post a photo of my colony.

Anyone have a lead as to where I could get another one of these? Unfortunately, I lost my colony a few months ago.

I found an earlier pic that better illustrates the growth pattern if that helps for ID.

The colors in this pic are dead on.
Still looking!

Def not a shortcake… it reminds me of the old skool upscales microcladus but has the traits of a granny so I’m not sure.. @Perry might be able to Id it for you.

I like it more for a lokani than a granulosa based on the radial growth pattern developing.
