Prior to getting hit by velvet from some snails, my tang and blenny would destroy this stuff. I feed lrs frozen and this to both qts because everyone loves it. The blenny doesn't have algae to munch on but this seems to be helping sustain him

Why? That's some of the most nutritious food you can get. I mix it up with frozen, refrigerated and pellets.
Mostly because I'm away from the tank and work it's a hassle sometimes. It also pollutes the water.

Velvet off snails? Scary... and they’d probably starve in QT.

Yup. I'd been doing qt on all fish for a almost a year and a little invert nearly wiped my tank. Lost several fish from not doing qt on them. No idea I was supposed to..

I agree, mixed diet is best, but have to say most all my fish do love NLS pellets, and those added to my eheim feeder w/ a mix of that and Ocean Nutrition formula one flakes makes it easy for me to give multiple feedings, and I don't sweat it w/ unexpected nights/days away from my tank.

Some of my fish actually seem to prefer NLS to some frozen foods even, my clowns go nuts over NLS pellets

Copper band...hard to say if it will adapt to any pellets or flakes, but maybe, they tend to be on the fussy side.

Not Tangs or Angel related, but for anyone else who came to this thread looking for general pellet advice - check out the Sustainable Aquatic Hatchery pellets. Incredible stuff.
